With the lack of funding threatening this event even taking place to going ahead with more money than its neighbouring Showdown of International Soca Monarch, there's always some sort of corruption around any of these events. With the reigning Monarch Ravi B stepping aside, we could have a new king of chutney unless Omardat Mahara who was joint 1st last had something to do with it.
