Jojo played by Roman Griffin Davis, is a young lonely German boy who join’s Hitler’s army. He soon discovers he’s mum is hiding a Jewish girl in their home and must find a way to keep this a secret.
Jojo’s mother “Rosie” played by Scarlett Johansson tries to educate Jojo but his imaginary friend Adolf Hitler tries to toy with his mind as World War 2 rages on.
Felt this film was a slow burner, and started to get serious when the stakes are high. Classed as a Comedy Drama I didn’t find all the jokes that funny but felt the drama. I would go as far to say this felt like 2 films in 1.
