Dex Flix's Film Review "DOWNSIZING" 2018

This film had all the potential to be a memorable one like "Hunny I shrunk The Kids" unfortunately for us it was rather bland and not really much to the imagination. Matt Damon who plays "Paul Saffranek" as a Husband to Kristen Wiig "Audrey Saffranek" decide that downsizing could be the best option for their financial balances but is screwed over by Audrey in the end, leaving her with all assets while his cashes out for the new life of being small.

Paul soon realises this life has its ups and downs like the life he once lived. He meets a housekeeper called "Ngoc Lan Tran" played by Hong Chau and realises that they have similar feelings and become close friends. The story could have expanded into many more avenues but as the film went on it was very scaled down and just didnt hold my attention. Without the humor of the housekeeper this film could have been really a dive.
