Although i had watched last year's version of Churchill, this direction from Joe Wright who gave you "Soloist", "Pan" and "Hanna" to name a few on hist list, definitely excelled in cinematic experience with the overhead shots that captured the essence of war, the flow of the film was fab. This for me was definitely award winning performance by Gary Oldman in all the prosthetics of him playing "Sir Winston Churchill". Lily James who plays "Elizabeth Payton" as the Prime Minister's PA in capturing the emotion that was needed in this time of war. If you love history and a war you will enjoy this one.
