A Disney classic brought to the new generation with real life characters but with the same old magic. Will Smith plays the “Genie aka Mariner”, Mena Massoud plays “Aladdin” and Naomi Scott as “Jasmine”. 

I thought I wouldn’t have enjoyed the relaunch of this story but it was a decent viewing of this classic. If you love great vocals you might be disappointed as I felt were a little off with one of the main characters compared to the rest. 

A fantasy adventure that for me doesn’t top the original.
