Director Destin Daniel Cretton brings to life the story about the world renowned civil rights defence attorney “Bryan Stevenson” played by Michael B Jordan. Bryan works hard to build a case to free a man wrongly condemned to death row. 

Death row prisoner “Walter Macmillan” played by Jamie Foxx is desperate to see his family and see justice done but whilst in prison he’s hope is tested by fellow inmates who haven’t had any luck with their previous defence attorneys. 

Another snapshot of black history captured in America, during the 80’s where racism and US Courts leaned more in corruption than justice.
