Based on the Novel by James Baldwin, see's a childhood love romance blossoms with "Tish aka Clementine" played by Kiki Layne and "Fonny aka Alonso" played Stephan James. They grow as a power couple to only be broken up by an accused rape. Fonny is sent down while Tish who is pregnant sets out to proves his innocence.
